Emily Calvert earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2004. After spending seven years as a full-time parent, she returned to school to continue pursuing her passion for helping others, earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University in 2021.
Emily began her clinical career in a residential addiction treatment setting, where she completed her internship and went on to work with individuals navigating substance use recovery. She later transitioned to an outpatient detox center, where she continues supporting clients through treatment with compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to individualized care.
Her professional background is rooted in service, resilience, and a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families face during recovery. Emily brings both clinical training and real-world empathy to her work, helping clients feel supported as they move toward lasting change.
Outside of her professional life, Emily is a busy mother of three and enjoys life with four dogs, one cat, and a dozen chickens.
