Sarah Dasher

Executive Director

Sarah Dasher is the Executive Director of Southern Pines Recovery. After joining the opening team to build the brand and communications plan, she now drives the facility’s business operations and growth alongside Founder and Clinical Director Brandon Scarboro, leveraging a career in corporate public relations to manage complex internal and external stakeholder needs.

Before Southern Pines, Sarah was the Global Communications Insights Lead at Cisco, delivering data-driven strategy to the C-suite for the company’s worldwide platform. She previously served as the Marketing Director for Willingway, a regional system specializing in addiction treatment, and as the Southeastern Research Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle, where she translated market data into strategic communications for the Fortune 500 commercial real estate powerhouse.

Drawing on her professional experience, Sarah served on the faculty at Boston University’s College of Communication for five years. She has consulted for a diverse range of clients across the public, nonprofit and arts sectors, including high-impact entities such as Redfin, MassDOT and Outward Bound. She holds an MS in Public Relations from Boston University and a BA in Journalism from the University of Georgia.

Sarah’s own long-term recovery began with high-quality, effective treatment, and she returned to working in addiction medicine specifically inspired by Brandon’s commitment to prioritizing compassionate, dignified, and excellent care for clients and families.

Deeply invested in the recovery community, Sarah sits on the Board of Directors for Grace House Augusta, a nonprofit providing safe, sober housing for women. An Augusta native, she returned home to be closer to family, though she maintains deep ties to New England as a spiritual home. An armchair Jungian analyst and a fiend for the arts, she frequently returns north to visit friends who became family.
