Georgia Outpatient Detox at Southern Pines Recovery

Find Freedom. Stay Connected. Heal at Home.

If you’re searching for Georgia outpatient detox, you deserve care that is effective, medically sound, and deeply human. At Southern Pines Recovery, we offer the first and only outpatient detox program in the region, providing professional medical support without the cold, corporate feel of large institutions. Located in Evans, just outside the Augusta medical corridor, we serve individuals and families across Georgia, including many from surrounding rural communities who already travel here for high-quality healthcare.

Our mission is simple: help you detox safely, regain clarity, and get excited about a life that’s changing for the better—all while staying connected to your work, family, and community.

The Only Outpatient Detox Within 100 Miles

Outpatient detox allows individuals to withdraw from substances under daily medical supervision while continuing to live at home. Unlike inpatient detox, which requires overnight stays, outpatient detox offers flexibility without sacrificing safety—when clinically appropriate.

At Southern Pines Recovery, outpatient detox means:

  • Daily, in-person treatment
  • Medical monitoring and vitals checks
  • Physician-guided medication management
  • A structured plan focused on recovery beyond detox

We believe detox is just the beginning. Our program is built around the question:

“How do you recover—and stay recovered?”

Southern Pines Recovery is proud to be:

  • The first outpatient detox in the region
  • The only outpatient detox option within a 100-mile radius

For many individuals in rural Georgia, access to detox has traditionally meant long hospital stays far from home. Our Evans location fills a critical gap—bringing compassionate, medically supported detox closer to where people live and work.

A Professional Program with a Hometown Feel

We intentionally avoid a corporate atmosphere. Our staff members are from the local area, and it shows in how we care for people. You’re not a number here—you’re a neighbor, a parent, a worker, a friend.

Clients often tell us they feel:

  • Genuinely welcomed
  • Listened to and respected
  • Encouraged, not pressured
  • Supported without being judged

This grounded, community-based approach helps people feel safe enough to fully engage in the detox and recovery process.

Recovery Beyond Detox

Detox alone is not recovery—and we’re honest about that.

Southern Pines Recovery focuses on helping clients build momentum toward a healthier future. While detox is our current level of care, we strongly encourage participation in group therapy and family therapy, either during or after detox. These services are not required, but they are powerful tools for change.

We want clients to leave detox:

    • Clear-headed
    • Motivated
    • Hopeful
    • Equipped to continue their recovery journey

Our Georgia Outpatient Detox Process

Pre-Assessment Phone Call

Your journey begins with a thorough phone pre-assessment. We take time to understand your substance use, medical history, mental health needs, and life responsibilities to determine whether outpatient detox is appropriate and safe.

Comprehensive In-Person Assessment

  • Day One: Approximately 3 hours of detailed assessment
  • Day Two: An additional 3 hours to finalize your individualized detox plan

This two-day evaluation allows our medical team to tailor care specifically to you—no cookie-cutter protocols.

Daily Medical Detox Treatment

Clients attend treatment daily and in person. Each visit includes:

  • Medical monitoring
  • Vital signs checks
  • Supervision after medication administration
  • Ongoing assessment of withdrawal symptoms and comfort

Detox typically lasts one to three weeks, depending on substances used, duration, dosage, and individual response.

How We Help at Our Outpatient Detox Center

Opiates / Opioids

  • Medications may include buprenorphine, clonidine, and supportive comfort medications
  • Our focus is short-term stabilization, not lifelong dependence

Benzodiazepines

  • Medications such as clonazepam (Klonopin) may be used when appropriate
  • Careful tapering and monitoring are essential for safety

Alcohol

  • Medications like acamprosate (Campral) and supportive agents are used to manage symptoms and reduce risk
  • Close medical supervision is provided throughout

We do not push medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as a long-term solution. While medications can play a critical role in short-term detox, we emphasize personal growth, accountability, and life changes that support lasting recovery.
